Hever Castle Christmas Lights
We were seeking a Christmas experience that would inspire us this festive season, so we headed over to Hever Castle this year to see their wonderful Christmas Lights, and it was so magical. We have visted Hever Castle many times over the years, but never before have we been at nightime. We booked tickets for the Twilight Christmas Experience, so we all wrapped up warm with camera at the ready to share some of our photos with you.
There is Magic in the Air with Festive Cheer all around.
The castle and grounds were all lit up with colourful Christmas lights. The trees were especially captivating with spectacular illuminations, and the lake looked stunning lit up too. Wandering around under the stars we were enchanted by the stunning array of bold and vivid colours, all of which have inspired us to experiment with colour combinations for this journal.

Back at the design studio, we sifted through all the magical photos we had captured to inspire us to experiment with the bold and vivid colour combinations. We started with a dark inky blue backdrop to reflect the night sky and introduced twinkling lights to add magic to the scheme.
We wanted to offer a nod to the history of the castle with fusion styled furniture featuring traditional fringe trim on the banquette seating. The statement pink glass chandelier brings a touch of glamour, and accessories were specially selected to keep a memory of the experience such as the small gold ferris wheel and the matt blue bust planter. As the design ideas developed, the concept evolved into a great idea for an entertainment space such as a bar or pool room, and the addition of Christmas decorations shows how to dress a fun space like this to enjoy over the festive season.

If you would like to visit Hever Castle yourself this Christmas, the Christmas Lights can be seen from 18th November until 1st January 2024 and be sure to book your tickets online in advance as this popular event can sell out fast! There are various activities to enjoy on your visit with a big Ferris wheel along with other fairground attractions and there are food stalls dotted around the castle for a bite to eat.
