Design Studio
Our beautiful design studio in the Kent countryside is an inspirational creative space, and is home to the Trindade & Bird team. The Long Barn is set on Yalding Hill, and as the name might suggest, the building is a converted barn which we have spent the last 5 years lovingly renovating and remodelling the interior of in stages. The spaces we live and work in are a true expression of our individuality, values, and lifestyle. The Long Barn is no exception – a visit to the studio is an experience not to be missed.

Hot teas and frothy coffees are served whilst we take you on a journey of discovery through personalised analysis of your individuality and lifestyle, dreams and aspirations, with an engaging and interactive consultation to identify and sift out the design direction which paves the way to optimise the end result.

Pulling up the sheer cotton blinds allows light to flood the studio, as we pop the kettle on to make a cup of tea the team begin to sift through the sampling at the studio, working with our carefully curated collection of materials and inspirations to explore ideas without imposition to inspire and enliven the senses.
Each and every sample at the studio has been hand-picked by our team and selected for our in-house collections to offer the very best quality and value. Long luscious lengths of fabric display the true nature of the drape and are a joy to touch and feel. The studio is filled with colours, textures and inspirations to spark the imagination.
